Pioneer Day - Jordan River Clean Up Project

Skate 4 Homies wants everyone to give back to their community this Pioneer Day (Sunday, July 24th...for those of you not from Utah).

Why?... Because S4H is teaming up with The Maloof Money Cup Road Tour to help clean up the Jordan River Parkway!

We are encouraging everyone/anyone to meet at the Skate Park on 900 South 900 West at noon on Sunday.
Here it is, just in case you forgot what the 9th & 9th park looked like.
We will be walking over to the Jordan River Parkway and picking up the trash and pulling weeds. The more people that come the faster it will go. Please help us reach our goal of 400 people!

Here's our very own Jordan River...pretty bad huh?

Don't forget Vitamin Water will be there to keep everyone hydrated!
Oh yeah it's B.Y.O.G (Bring Your Own Gloves)

Help keep our city clean! Hope to see you all out there!

Todd Builds Skullcandy's 4th of July Parade Float!

Our very own Todd Ingersoll was invited to build Skullcandy's 4th of July float! The party wagon was designed to be a halfpipe that could hold 50 kids and a DJ set. We all know Todd's built hundreds of halfpipes but this was definitely his first one on wheels.

Besides some last minute panicking the parade was a success and the people of Park City we're red, white, and blue in the liver. If you've never spent the 4th of July in Park City than you should be reevaluating yourself as an American.

Take a look on what you missed out on...

Todd wears many hats. This hat happens to build floats.

Big trucks and flatbeds...pretty American. Next year we're trying to get Gravedigger to pull the float.

National Go Skate Day @ The Skate 4 Homies Warehouse

If you're ever looking for a reason to party, remember.... June 21st gives you three of them. It marks National Go Skateboarding Day, the first day of summer, and the longest day of the year.

But Skate4Homies wasn't looking for a reason to party. They were counting down the days to party.

The Skate4Homies warehouse was the place to be on this year's Go Skate Day. It was a flash mobbin, bbqing, cool tunin, skateboardingin, transworld premieringin kinda day.

And Jim Rad took some pictures to prove it...

Max Pain and the Groovies showing the people how to rock

Local rippers meeting in the secret location, pre-skate mob.
No room for cars. SLC skaters ruled the street as they skate towards the Skate4Homies Warehouse.

SLC Trib even caught wind of the skate mob...check it out!

No need for a permit. The skate force is strong with you Salt Lake City.

Trick of the day: Quarter pipe kickflip to wall.
